Terms of Sales

Minimum Order

A minimum order of 175 branched trees or 300 whip trees is required.
This minimum allows us to secure the most efficient and cost-effective combined freight rates.

Grade Substitution

Tree grades are subject to natural growth variations.
Sizes may vary by one (1) grade up or down without prior notice unless specific sizing requirements are arranged in advance.

Cancellations

All cancellations for bareroot tree orders must be submitted in writing and received no later than March 1st.

Royalty (Patent Fee)

A royalty fee applies to patented and trademarked tree varieties.
These fees are assessed in addition to the listed unit price.

Payment Terms

• A 25% down payment is required on all orders by February 15th.

• Orders placed after February 15th require a 25% down payment upon receipt of the order.

• The remaining balance is due by March 1st.

• No orders will ship without payment in full.

Shipping Information

Jim Whiting Nursery will arrange freight to obtain the best available shipping rates.
Freight charges are paid directly to the freight company.
All shipments are delivered directly from the West Coast to your nursery.
