Since 1972, Jim Whiting Nursery Inc. has been proudly rooted in Rochester, Minnesota as a family-owned, full-service nursery and garden center. Carrying forward the legacy started by his parents, Jim Whiting has continued a long-standing commitment to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

What began on North Broadway grew into today’s 55-acre operation on 19th St NW, where we offer premium plant material, hardscapes, and a wide selection of garden center products. By blending tradition with innovation, we’ve built strong partnerships with Pacific Northwest growers for more than four decades—allowing us to source surplus bareroot shade and ornamental trees at savings of up to 65% below standard wholesale pricing.
